  can any of the u.k. natives on this forum point me to a website that lists costs of basic items like food, etc?

  or maybe you can let me know from personal experience the price of things in london and vicinity?.

  No problem TR, not that I'm based in the UK or anywhere even remotely close...

  Prices in London tend to eb a fair bit higher than elsewhere in the UK, buying beer in pubs and bars is a good example, can be quite expensive

  If there's anything else in particular, giz a shout.

  For food, go check out a site like http://www.tesco.co.uk, which is a supermarket. They have online ordering, and should give a good indication of food prices.

  Just make sure you check out the going rates for them, you can check finished items which will give you an indication of the final bids, the link is on the left side at the search results page.

  It's one way of clawing something back from the WT...

  Lol, I've been trading on there for a while now puffsrule, very profitable it can be too...

  If you happen to know anyone in Europe, or anywhere else for that matter, who is looking to get rid of parts of their library, i'd gladly give them a hand! Try Watch Tower, and jehovah too. Some items go for up to 100/200$, depending on what they are.

  That's pretty much what I told him, the last time he said "Isn't that nice...?" when talking about everlasting life. Just told him I'm not so sure, after a couple of hundred years it might get a bit dull, don't you think?

  Some of them sell them on Ebay to collectors for a quick profit... A simple search for watchtower brings up a ton of hits, and not just for old publications either!
